Jill M. Bowen
Ms. Bowen concentrates her practice in the area of commercial litigation, involving business and real estate disputes. She handles both trials and civil proceedings.
Ms. Bowen received her undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida in 2015 and her Juris Doctor, with honors, from Florida State University College of Law in 2019. In law school, she received multiple Book Awards for academic performance in Evidence, Land Use Regulation, Coastal & Ocean Law, and Legal Writing.
During law school, Ms. Bowen served as a Staff Editor for Law Review and as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law. Ms. Bowen was also the Chair of the Law School Council, which allocated funds to all FSU College of Law student organizations.
Ms. Bowen is currently involved in the Sarasota County Bar Association, serving on multiple committees for the Young Lawyers Division.
Prior to joining Bentley Law, Ms. Bowen clerked for the City of Tampa City Attorney’s Office, representing the city in a variety of administrative and civil proceedings, and later clerked for a private litigation firm in Tallahassee focusing on commercial and real estate disputes.
